Contractors may prequalify for one or more categories depending on your scope, capacity, certifications, and track record. Prequalification enables you to receive relevant tender invitations when opportunities arise.

Minimum Baseline (General)

Legally registered company with valid statutory compliance (registration, tax, applicable sector licenses).

Demonstrable experience in similar scope and complexity (include references and completion evidence).

HSE capacity (policy, incident reporting, training records, PPE plan, risk assessments).

Ability to mobilize resources (personnel, equipment access, QA/QC processes, supply chain controls).

Scope Coverage & Delivery Expectations

Prequalification assesses your ability to execute end-to-end delivery or specialized packages. Indicate the scopes you can deliver and whether you support EPC+F / financing pathways.

Engineering: design coordination, value engineering, IFC readiness, BoQ validation.

Procurement: approved vendors, QA plans, logistics, customs handling (where applicable).

Construction: civil, electrical, mechanical, commissioning, punch-list closeout.

QA/QC: ITPs, test records, handover dossiers, as-built documentation.

HSE: permits, toolbox talks, incident management, environmental controls.

O&M (optional): operations readiness, performance reporting, spares & training.

Relevant track record and strong references with comparable scale.

Governance & controls for procurement integrity, quality, cost, and schedule.

Compliance readiness including due diligence, sanctions screening, and policy alignment.

Evaluation Criteria

Prequalification is not a contract award. It is a screening step used to shortlist appropriate contractors for tendering based on project scope, risk profile, and governance requirements.

Experience & relevance: Similar scope, size, terrain, regulatory complexity.

Delivery controls: QA/QC, project management, reporting cadence.

HSE performance: Safety metrics, policy maturity, incident processes.

Financial capacity: Working capital, auditeds, bonding (if needed).

Key personnel: CVs, certifications, availability, project leadership.

Compliance: Integrity, disclosures, sanctions screening cooperation.

Prequalification Process & Timeline

Once submitted, your profile is reviewed and categorized. You may be contacted for clarifications or additional documents. Tender invitations are issued when aligned opportunities arise.

Does prequalification guarantee contract award?

No. Prequalification only enables tender invitations where scope and capacity match.

Can we submit as a consortium or joint venture?

Yes. Provide the consortium structure, lead party, roles, and combined references.

What if we don’t have ISO certifications?

You can still submit. Provide your QA/QC and HSE systems; certifications are a plus depending on project requirements.
